SUSSEX COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, located at 52 Newton Sparta Road, Newton, New Jersey represents six hundred sixty five (665) of the more than one million members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR). Members of the Sussex County Association are also members of the NEW JERSEY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.
The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® is America’s largest professional trade association involved in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate. Their basic visionary goals are to be the leading advocate of the right to own, use and transfer real property and to be the acknowledged leader in developing standards for efficient, effective and ethical real estate business practices.
NAR and state associations throughout the country field a team of professional legislative advocates who consistently monitor and progressively work on public policy to promote and protect property rights. Because of these efforts, REALTORS® have access to the most up-to-date political information and have an effective avenue to seek solutions to public policy problems.
Ensuring economic vitality…providing housing opportunities…building better communities: REALTORS® share these goals with Congress. The mission of NAR’s Housing Opportunity Program is to position REALTORS® as leaders in identifying, developing, advocating and promoting business opportunities, programs, products and resources that expand housing availability and ensure an adequate supply of housing opportunities for all. NAR has entered into a national partnership with Habitat for Humanity that will create an opportunity to remind the American public of REALTORS® commitment to homeownership and affordable housing.
REALTORS® have a longstanding tradition of community involvement, making a difference in the neighborhoods where they serve.
